Ethical Trading Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conducting assessment of the supplier factories to ensure compliance to company ethical standards and ensuring any non-compliances are closed in a timely manner
  • Supporting suppliers in completing ethical audits and closing out non-compliances (where required)
  • Organizing supplier workshops regularly to update suppliers and factories our ethical requirements and sharing best practices and providing guidance to them
  • Conducting shadow audits regularly to understand the quality of our service providers
  • Communicating regularly with other functions like technical and commercial to ensure they are updated on the standards and the ethical risks in their supply base and finding solution in a collaborative manner
Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge about ethical standards, labour laws, corporate social responsibility. 
  • Operate effectively and credibly within the company,  with suppliers, NGOs and other stakeholders
  • Ability to identify, understand and articulate real causes of ethical problems and address causes to drive improvement
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills;  Can-do attitude.  Good analyzing and problem solving skills.
