(Senior) Sourcing Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Explore new sources of competent manufacturers for new & existing products. This includes vendor selection, management & performance assessment, negotiation of terms and formulation of buying strategies;
- Responsible for overseeing projects from supplier selection, cost negotiation, product sampling, critical path management, to trouble shooting in mass production where he/she will ensure that manufacturing meets the expected targets;
- Work closely with customers to meet sales plan;
- Manage a team of merchandisers and work closely with Technical staff both in HK and China.
Job Requirements:
- University graduate with minimum 12 years' solid sourcing experience in international buying office;
- Experience with PRC local sourcing development. Familiar with US and European markets;
- Excellent in spoken & written English and Mandarin;
- Resourceful, energetic and competent;
- Ability to work independently and as a team player;
- Excellent problem solving skills with highly analytical mind;
- Self-motivated & excellent organizational skills;
- Able to handle multi tasks and possess a high level of initiative and integrity.
