Fabric Print Specialist (Senior)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for researching new printing technique on a seasonal basis  
  • Responsible for managing the printing developments for RTW (Ready to Wear)
  • Responsible for clarifying/downloading all the artwork to cross‐functional teams
  • Responsible for re‐engineering artwork/print patterns based on the request/styles
    (e.g: OPTITEX and CLO software)
  • Responsible for solving any printing technique/technical issue with printing supplier
  • Manage and follow up Strike Off/SMS and send to NYO for approval
  • Review/do the approval for RTW/bulk Printing execution  
  • Provide support/advice for other Tory Burch category teams (e.g: Handbag)
  • Maintain fabric/print filing and records in a systematic way  
  • Support Ad‐Hoc project related to PRINT
  • Assist in ad hoc tasks if required

 

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in a relevant area required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in fabric print for RTW and leather & non‐leather printing for
    Handbags.
  • Experience in screen printing, digital printing and chemical use.
  • Efficient, Proactive, detail‐oriented, well organized with print technique & problem‐solving skills.
  • Good Team Player, able to work across functional teams & offices.  
  • Strong knowledge of fabric weaving/construction, fabric properties, dyeing, and finishing
    process is required.
  • Experience using OPTITEX and CLO software preferred
  • Familiarity with PLM systems required
  • Experience working with premium fabric (silk and wool) and designer brands required
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Good command of English and Mandarin, in both verbal and written.
